Uruguayan Andres Matonte Cabrera will officiate the Egyptian Al-Ahly match and the Spanish Real Madrid, in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup at Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat.
Matonti will referee the match alongside his compatriots Nicholas Taran, Martin Sobe and Salvadoran Ivan Barton, while Colombian Nicholas Gayo will take charge of the “mouse” technique, next to Venezuelan Juan Soto.
The 34-year-old Uruguayan managed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the match between Croatia and Canada in the first stage, and was the fourth referee in the matches between Senegal and the Netherlands, the Netherlands and the United States.
