Saudi astronaut Rayana Bernawi published, on her Twitter account, a video he took from space of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Grand Mosque on Friday.
And I attached the video clip with a comment: “After I finished my experiences for today, it happened that we passed over Makkah Al-Mukarramah, light upon light.”
It is noteworthy that the Saudi astronauts, Rayana Bernawi and Ali Al-Qarni, were launched on May 21 to the International Space Station aboard a “Falcon 9” rocket produced by “SpaceX” from the Kennedy Space Center in the US state of Florida, accompanied by the former astronaut at “NASA”. Peggy Whitson and American entrepreneur John Shoffner, on a trip organized by Axiom Space.
After about 15 hours, the crew arrived at the International Space Station, to conduct 14 pioneering scientific research experiments in microgravity.
And on Thursday, Bernawi tweeted on her Twitter account, saying: “The first steps in starting scientific experiments are to test the response of immune cells to infections using the live experiment box.”

It is noteworthy that the journey of the Saudi astronauts comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s program for astronauts, which aims to qualify experienced Saudi cadres for space flights, and to participate in conducting scientific experiments, international research and future missions related to the space sector.
