Prayagraj. Giving a big relief to Abbas Ansari, MLA son of Bahubali and former MLA Mukhtar Ansari, the Allahabad High Court has granted him bail. Along with this, Abbas Ansari’s maternal uncle Atif Raza alias Sarjil Raza and close aide Afroz have also got bail.
After the completion of hearing on these three applications, the court had reserved its decision on August 1. However, even after the bail application is approved, Abbas Ansari will not be able to come out of jail. In fact, the bail application in another case related to the advertisement is pending in the Supreme Court. Even if Abbas Ansari gets bail in this case, he will come out of jail.
At present, Abbas Ansari’s maternal uncle Atif Raja and close aide Afroz will be released from jail. This decision was given by a single bench of Justice Rajveer Singh. The High Court had reserved the decision on August 1 after hearing the arguments of both the parties. It is worth noting that Abbas Ansari is lodged in Kasganj jail while Atif Raza alias Sarjit is lodged in Lucknow jail.
Let us tell you that businessman Abu Fakar Khan had lodged an FIR in Kotwali Ghazipur in August 2023. In which the names of Mukhtar Ansari, his wife Afshan, MLA son Abbas Ansari, brother-in-law Atif Raza, Anwar Shahzad and Afroz were included. A case was registered against them under sections of fraud, extortion and conspiracy. They are accused of having valuable land in front of Homeopathic Medical College.
