For about a week, a forest fire operated in the “Guberlinskie Gory” reserve in the Orenburg region. According to preliminary estimates, the burning area ranged from 20 thousand to 30 thousand hectares.
The first foci of a forest fire were recorded on June 19. The fire was contained only by June 25. Reported by 56orb.ru. Significant assistance in extinguishing the fire was provided by the forces of the Directorate of Specially Protected Areas of Regional Significance.
The situation was aggravated by difficult weather conditions. Windy weather was established in the Orenburg region. In addition, extinguishing the fire was complicated by the difficult landscape of the area.
The fire was completely liquidated on June 30. The firefighters from Orsk, Kazachya Guberli, Khmelevka, as well as the inspectors participated in the extinguishing.
On June 30, it was reported about the elimination of a fire with an area of 32.5 thousand hectares in a remote area in the Irkutsk region. The extinguishing was attended by 275 people and over 30 pieces of equipment.
