The UAE Professional League stated in a statement today, Thursday, that an auction will be held on the shirts of Al-Wahda and Al-Jazira players in the Abu Dhabi Derby match, which brought together the two teams on Tuesday in the ADNOC Professional League, in a unique opportunity for the fans to obtain these distinctive football collectibles.
The auction started at six o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, and will continue until six o’clock in the evening next Tuesday, April 26, and it is organized by Matchwornshirt International, in partnership with the UAE Professional League, and its proceeds will be allocated to the clubs participating in it for their community and public initiatives.
The auction comes as an extension of the League’s initiatives, which organized several similar auctions in its competitions, and witnessed a demand for these shirts to be acquired by football fans from within the country and from various countries of the world.
