This is because they will provide maintenance. But now, how can this transfer be made? Here we tell you what you should know.
The AICM aerotrain will be closed for maintenance in CDMX
Between on November 25 and December 12 the AICM (Mexico City International Airport) will provide scheduled maintenance to the airtrain that connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
But be careful because the transfer of passengers between these two terminals will be replaced with buses that will have no cost for people who have a boarding pass.
They will work AICM and TETSA company buses that can be boarded at gate 7 of Terminal 1, as well as in the bus area of Terminal 2, next to gate 4.
The operating hours of this bus service will be from Monday to Sunday between 05:00 and 23:00.
But what maintenance are they going to give to this transport between terminals?
The CDMX Airport explains that they are going to correct and level the airtrain track in different sections because there are several sinkholes in the ground.
They claim that all this work will make the road much safer and will allow it to have a useful life of up to 20 years.
