Mumbai Mumbai Police has arrested the accused from Raipur, Chhattisgarh for threatening to kill Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. The name of the accused is Faizan Khan. He is a lawyer by profession. The accused had threatened the policeman deployed for Shahrukh’s security by phone.
Besides, a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was also demanded. Last week, a complaint about this threatening call was lodged at Bandra Police Station, after which the police has started taking action on it. Faizal Khan, who threatened Bollywood’s King Khan (Shahrukh Khan), had already told the Mumbai Police that he will come to Mumbai on November 14 and give his statement.
Recently, he was receiving continuous threats, due to which he had written a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner seeking permission to record his statement through video call. After the arrest of Faizal (Faizan Khan), now Mumbai Police is investigating further in this case. The person threatening had said that if Rs 50 lakh was not given then he (Shahrukh Khan) would be killed.
