Director Koratala Shiva Ditta in creating mass entertainers that add commercial elements to social elements and are appreciated by the audience. He did magic in every film from his first film ‘Mirchi’ to ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. The hero is newly unveiled. If such a director is making a film with a senior hero like megastar Chiranjeevi, the expectations are not normal. If the father and son Chiru and Charan are acting together in it, the range of those expectations is sky high. Did ‘Acharya’ impress the audience with its release amidst such huge expectations? .. let’s see ..! In the movie ‘Janata Garage’, Koratala Shiva gave the message that we should protect nature. ‘Acharya’ is also a story about roughly protecting nature and the virtue hidden in it. It is a temple town called Dharmasthali. Next to it is a river called Jeevadhara. Beyond the river is an area called Padaghattam in Siddhavanam. People who have been practicing Ayurvedic medicine for years on end during this pilgrimage protect the Dharmasthala. Ghattammathalli is worshiped at Dharmasthali. People in Dharmasthala are treated with their Ayurvedic medicine if they fall ill. Dharma is maintained in the Dharmasthala as a whole. However, the Dharmasthali .. goes from the inhabitants of Padaghattam to the hands of Basava (Sonu Sood). There iniquity abounds. At such a time Acharya (Chiranjeevi) comes to establish Dharma in Dharmasthali. In fact there is a reason to come to Acharya Dharmasthala. And what is the reason for that? Did Acharya establish Dharma in Dharmasthali? What is the role of Siddha (Ram Charan) in this story? If you want to know, you have to watch a movie. Koratala Shiva is the only four films he has directed so far. But, with those four films, he got the status of a star director. Because, the content in those movies is like that. Expectations from a director like this that the movie will be a megastar hero are definitely huge. But, those predictions were manipulated by Shiva. Originally it was a Koratala Shiva movie that was completely watered down. There is no strength in the story at all. The on-screen scenes do not immerse the audience in the film. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, O Five Fights, Four Songs seems to be the movie. Feeling we have ‘Run out of gas’ emotionally. Telugu audiences have seen many such stories. So, it is easy to imagine what scene comes next when a scene is taking place. Emotions are high in the movie of fights. Those emotions also dried up in this movie. The strength of the film is the story. No matter how great the rest of the film is after it is weakened they do not sink into our brains. The same is true of ‘Acharya’. In fact, Chiranjeevi, who is over 65 years old, looked very energetic on screen. When he first enters the Dharmasthala, his style and swag chatter with the audience. So much for being caught up in that role. In it, Koratala Shiva appears in the role of the latest makeover Acharya. Chiranjeevi’s style is sure to impress fans even in fights. While all of this is good the big minus is that the content that shows these strongly is boring. ‘Acharya’ is a great example of how punishment can be punished no matter how many elevations when the content is not good. Fastoff is a director who looks simple .. In the second half, even Chiru and Charan could not be used properly. Acharya and Siddha have a relationship to the characters. Shiva also failed to connect it emotionally. Shiva could not give as much importance to story and articles as he did to action sequences. In some scenes in the second half, Siddha’s character dominates Acharya. Shiva said in some interviews that it was very difficult to cover it. But, it feels like Charan has dominated the screen. The character of Sepu Acharya is not visible to our eyes as long as the Siddha episode is running. For Ram Charan who has done roles like Chittibabu and Ramaraju .. Siddha Kottinapindi. However, in the Banjara song, Jose gives a father-son dance together. The director portrayed Sonu Sood as a mass villain and Jishu Sengupta as a class villain. Even those villains did not ripen properly. This is due to the lack of strong scenes between the heroes and the villains. In fact the scenes where the heroes give warnings to the villains, the scenes that show their strength are highlighted in the movie. But, in ‘Acharya’ it was time for the heroes to hit the fighters surrounding the villains. Eventually the villains were raised by Acharya Simple. Again, Pooja Hegde in sapphire looked new, very nice. As long as his character is as impressive as ever. Ajay, Tanikella Bharani, Banerjee, Vennela Kishore, Nazar, Kishore .. all did justice to their roles. In terms of content, ‘Acharya’ is below average but technically a hit. Especially Suresh Selvarajan’s artwork is great. The temple town of Dharmasthali was wonderfully inaugurated. Not only that .. the small village set called Padaghattam in the hills is also well laid out. These sets were captured beautifully on his camera by cinematographer Thiru. However, in the flashback, Chiranjeevi’s face was morphed into a dope face. That graphic work is distorted. No wonder trolling on social media over this. Meanwhile, the Ram-Laxman Masters fights are as high voltage as ever. The songs composed by senior music director Manisharma are just fine. Manisharma is the name given to the background music. But, he did not seem to have much scope in this film. The director’s inability to create elevating scenes with BGM is also a minus. If not, Manisharma told his BGM to work on the action sequences. He tasted the flavor.
Finally ..
Meaningless ‘Acharya’ lesson
