Actor Jaime Garza, from Simply María, dies at 67

Mexican actor Jaime Garza, known for starring in the telenovela Simply maria, died at the age of 67, this Friday, May 14, in Mexico City.

The unfortunate news was confirmed by the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) through an official statement on social networks.

“He is remembered for his work in productions such as Wild Rose, Bianca Vidal and Pacto de amor. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends ”, reads the announcement that shocked the entertainment world in Mexico.

On the causes of the death of Jaime Garza, The actress and his wife, Rosita Pelayo, assured that the artist suffered from complications due to diabetes he had suffered from for several years.

“I am very sad for my Jaimito, because we separated but always loving each other, we never stopped talking. He had diabetes, they had just operated on him about two months ago on his leg, but it is gone. I spoke with Ana Silvia (her sister) and she told me it was this morning ”, declared Pelayo for a Mexican media outlet.
