Telangana’s personal safety score is 42 while Adilabad district’s personal safety score is 85, making the state proud. It is remarkable that these security rankings have come as a proof of the performance of Adilabad district police system. On this occasion, the District SP D Uday Kumar Reddy was showered with congratulations from the celebrities. In this ranking, Mokok district of Nagaland is at the top with 89.89 marks, Adilabad is at the fifth position and Karinnagar is at the eighth position with 81 marks. While Hyderabad was average with 62 marks, Bhadradri Kothagudem (44), Rajanna Sirisilla (47) and Suryapet (48) achieved the lowest scoring.
Despite being a remote district..despite the presence of Maoists..the parameters used for scoring put Adilabad at the top of the charts. It is noteworthy that it is also one of the districts across the country selected for the Aspirational District Program (ADP).
