Adipurush US Collections: The movie ‘Adipurush’ (Adipurush US Collections), which created a huge craze even before its release, hit the screens on Friday. As Prabhas acted as Ram, the fans thronged the theaters on the first day to see their favorite actor. However, there was a huge craze about the movie ‘Adipurush’ before its release in India as well as in the US. It is in this background that the rally organized for Adipurush became viral. Meanwhile.. this movie has already created a record by grossing 1 million plus US dollars (1 M+ USD) across North America. Analysts estimate that it will easily collect 4 million in the US by the end of the weekend.

And according to the latest figures.. Adipurush movie collected more than $850K through pre-bookings, Thursday night premiere shows in USA, Canada. As of Friday morning, the Telugu version of the movie has grossed $180K from 230 locations as of 9:30am EST. Also, the Hindi version collected another $120K from 260 places. As of 9:40 AM EST on Friday, it reached $300K.

Meanwhile, there is still no clarity on how much this movie has collected on the first day worldwide. But till now only Prabhas’ previous films ‘Baahubali 2, Saaho’ collected 100 crores on the first day. And now the analysts say that Adipurush will also be the third film to achieve that feat. This movie was released in 9000 screens worldwide on Friday.

However, on the day of the release, Prabhas’ fans created a frenzy at the theaters in Telugu states. The theater has already taken action against the reviewer who gave Adipurush a negative review. On the other hand, a petition was filed in the Delhi High Court that the characters of Rama, Ravana and Hanuman were shown in a mocking manner in the film. The Hindu Sena has raised objections in the petition that the portrayal of the characters in the film is different from the one depicted in the Ramayana.
