New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail on bail on Friday. The Supreme Court has granted him bail on certain conditions. After being released from Tihar Jail, CM Kejriwal performed puja with his wife at the historic Hanuman temple in Connaught Place on Saturday.
Apart from his wife, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were also with the CM (Arvind Kejriwal). After offering prayers at the temple, Kejriwal also had a program to go to Rajghat, but this program was postponed due to waterlogging at Rajghat. If sources are to be believed, he can go to Rajghat tomorrow i.e. on Sunday. It is worth noting that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the Supreme Court on Friday. The court has granted him bail on conditions.
On Friday evening, immediately after coming out of jail (Tihar Jail), CM Kejriwal did a road show from Chandgi Ram Akhara to his residence. All the big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party were present on this occasion. During this, Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) said that I have not done any corruption. My only fault is that I raised my voice against anti-national forces. This is why I was sent to jail.
Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on 21 March from his residence in Civil Lines. After 10 days of interrogation, he was sent to Tihar Jail on 1 April. Later on 26 June, CBI arrested him in the jail itself for questioning in the same case. About 51 days later, on 10 May, the Supreme Court granted him interim bail for 21 days.
