The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired 20 rockets from the Grad multiple launch rocket system in the direction of the village of Vesele in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was announced on June 29 by the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime.
It is noted that the shelling was recorded at 20:15 (coincides with Moscow time).
Earlier that day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the village of Krasny Partizan in the DPR, as a result of which a civilian was killed. According to the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR, the shelling of the village by Ukrainian militants was carried out along Fabrychnaya Street. The deceased man was no more than 45 years old.
Also on Wednesday, it became known about the death of a civilian Yasinovataya as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
On June 17, it was reported that about 8 thousand people died in the DPR during the entire period of armed aggression by Ukraine.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the inhabitants of the Donbass republics had been subjected to genocide by the Kyiv regime and neo-Nazis for eight years, so Moscow’s decision to conduct a special operation was necessary.
Russia continues the special operation to protect the Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the President of the Russian Federation on February 24. The key goals of the Russian military are the denazification and demilitarization of the Kyiv regime. This is necessary to ensure the security of the Russian state and people, the Kremlin said.
