The Arguments and Facts team, together with partners, gathered what people in the liberated territories needed and sent humanitarian aid to the Donbass.
The team of the publishing house “Arguments and Facts” together with the charitable foundation “AiF. Good Heart” and partners formed the cargo, which they handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and with a humanitarian convoy it has already arrived in Donbass. “Almost 45 years ago, when our publication was first published, we were all citizens of one great country. And for “AiF” there is no difference between our readers on this or that side of the border. Helping readers, wherever they live: in Donetsk or Rostov, in Bryansk or Kherson, in Vladivostok or Lugansk, is our duty,” says Mikhail Chkanikov, editor-in-chief of Arguments and Facts
This point of view is shared by employees of a large team from different parts of the country where the regional editorial offices of AIF work. The money that was used to buy diapers, which are in short supply in the Donbass today, as well as other hygiene products for children and adults, was transferred by Aifovtsy from the southern regions, and from Siberia, and from the Far East.
“We understand that our cargo is only a small fraction, but we really hope that it will help specific people who find themselves in the center of hostilities to hold out. We know that there are more and more such initiatives, and the residents of Donbass, receiving humanitarian aid, feel that they are not alone, that they are supported by people all over Russia. We believe that peace will surely come to the land of Ukraine, which always comes after the Victory, ”the AiF team noted.
