This is the story..
On November 26, a man named Shankar Mishra urinated on an elderly passenger on an Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi. This incident became a sensation. This incident came to the notice of DGCA on January 4. DGCA had issued notices earlier asking for an explanation. A preliminary determination was made that the company did not deal properly with misbehaving customers. As this matter came to light, the American financial services company Wells Fargo dismissed the accused from his job. After that, Mishra was arrested in Bengaluru on January 7 by the Delhi Police. Sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
Accused Mishra can challenge the ban on him before the Appellate Committee appointed by the Minister of Civil Aviation. The appeal depends on the decision of the committee. If the committee’s decision is negative, there are chances of going to the High Court.
