According to the revenue officials, about Rs.1.11 crore tax is pending in this order. Revenue officials informed that Aishwarya Roy has been issued a notice under Section 174 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Act, 1966.
After receiving the notices, the revenue officials mentioned that the tax amount should be paid within 10 days. Otherwise, legal action will be taken. Among those who have received these notices are some Bollywood celebrities and businessmen. The revenue officials say that once in the past, these 1200 people were reminded about land tax.
