Saifai, Voting for the third phase is going on from 7 am on 93 seats in 11 states and union territories of the country. In the third phase, voting is being held on 10 seats of Uttar Pradesh under tight security arrangements. Since morning, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the voters regarding voting at the polling places.

There are long queues of voters at the booths. In the first two hours i.e. till 9 o’clock, a total of 12.94 percent voting took place on all these seats. The lowest turnout was at Amla seat at 11.42 percent, while the highest turnout was at Sambhal Lok Sabha seat at 14.71 percent. Whereas the most popular seat Mainpuri has got 12.18 percent votes.
Earlier, SP candidate Dimple Yadav and SP President and former CM Akhilesh Yadav cast their votes in Saifai. During voting in Mainpuri, UP, SP workers accused BJP workers of fake voting. There was a dispute on this. On the other hand, the officials directed not to allow any person to come near the polling station unnecessarily.
It is noteworthy that out of the 10 seats on which voting took place in the third phase today, the main contest on most of the seats is triangular or between BJP and SP. The special thing is that in the Lok Sabha seats where voting is taking place today, three members of the Saifai family are in the fray. Popular seats among these are Mainpuri, Badaun and Firozabad. Dimple Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav and Akshay Yadav are contesting elections from here. A total of 100 candidates are in the fray for these 10 seats in UP.
