Presenter and former figure skating star Rudi Cerne (65) is not only a very satisfied husband, but currently also a particularly satisfied dad. The reason is beautiful and now has a new ring on her finger: Cerne’s daughter Elisabeth (33) married her partner Christian in church. In an off-the-shoulder dream of fine satin, she said YES!

Rudy Cerne – The face of the successful ZDF series “Aktenzeichen XY … unsolved” for 21 years – has already reached its 37th year of marriage with his Christine.
Christine was an old childhood friend and the two married in Las Vegas in 1987. Three years later, their daughter Elisabeth was born.

Cerne says: “My wife is my best friend. We never get bored. We do everything more or less together. I don’t have any men’s nights and Christine doesn’t meet a specific clique either.”
They missed each other quite soon. Cerne: “At the beginning of our relationship we were apart a lot. When I was involved in ‘Holiday on Ice’, I was on tour with an ensemble for longer periods of time for four years.”

During his career as a competitive athlete, Rudi Cerne became, among other things, German champion (1978 and 1989), won silver at the European Championships in Budapest in 1984 and came fifth at the World Championships in Ottawa in the same year. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo, Cerne narrowly missed a medal in fourth place, then ended his career and worked as a professional for “Holiday On Ice” until 1988.
