The Egyptian summit match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek witnessed an unexpected situation after the end of the match, after Al-Ahly player Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba suddenly fell after fainting after the end of his Al-Ahly team’s match against its rival Zamalek, which was postponed from the tenth round in the Egyptian League.
After referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din blew the whistle for the end of the match, Mahmoud Kahraba fell to the ground, and some of the players from both teams rushed towards him, and Al-Ahly’s medical staff intervened, who succeeded in quickly resuscitating Kahraba, as the player regained consciousness and got back to his feet before leaving the field.
Zamalek had achieved an exciting victory over Al-Ahly with a score of 2-1 in the match that was held at Cairo International Stadium, in which Kahraba participated as a substitute in the 90th minute.
Following Zamalek’s victory, it rose to tenth place in the Egyptian League standings, after raising its score to 21 points from 13 matches, which is the same as Al-Ahly’s ninth score, but from 11 matches.
