The day before yesterday, the races for purebred Arabian horses concluded within the Liwa International Festival, with the participation of an elite group of the best horses and owners in two main rounds.
In the first half, over a distance of 1400 metres, the horse “Al-Ariq” by owner Bin Ashir excelled, achieving first place, and “Sky Al-Ghariba” by owner Hamdan Suhail Ali Salmeen Al-Mazrouei came in second, while “Al-Habi” by owner Ali Suhail Ali Salmeen Al-Mazrouei came in third.
In the 2,100-metre race, “Shamekh” by owner Saif Mohammed Fan Abdullah Al Muhairbi won the spotlight and first place, followed by “Safir Al Thani” by owner Ahmed Mohammed Fan Al Muhairbi in second place, while third place went to “Maimon” by owner Bin Ashir.
