“Al-Aseer” will compete strongly in the “Amateur” League

Hatta Club’s first team goalkeeper, Salem Khairi, confirmed that his team will compete strongly in the new season of the First Division League (amateurs), which starts on September 15, to snatch one of the two tickets to play in the Professional League, noting that the training camp organized by the Hurricane in Turkey was successful and distinguished in all preparatory aspects.

The captain of the Hurricane team told Al-Emarat Al-Youm: “The players pledged to provide the best levels in the matches, and this appeared on the field, in the locker room and in side conversations. Everyone realizes that the Hatta team deserves to be in the (professionals), and we have a distinguished coach, effective management and distinguished players, which are the most prominent factors for success.”

“The team played four friendly matches in Turkey, winning two, drawing one and losing another. The team showed promising technical levels during these matches, even though they were against technically capable teams. This contributed to the players’ desire to benefit from the opportunity of the external camp. He noted that the match with Al-Muharraq of Bahrain, which ended (2-1) in favor of Al-Muharraq, was one of the most important friendly matches for Al-Aasour, and the players’ enthusiasm was evident in it.”

Regarding continuing with Hatta, Salem Khairi said: “My ambition is to lead the team to the ranks of the professional league in the season after the current one, by playing matches with the spirit of one team, and insisting on achieving the best results,” describing the new football season as “strong with the presence of a large number of teams aspiring to ascend, but that will not diminish our ambition to snatch one of the two promotion cards, and I am bound by a contract with the team until the end of the season.”

He concluded: “We will be very happy for the happiness of the Hurricane fans when they see the team return to its natural place in the professionals.”
