The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision to the Bank of Sudan to freeze Rapid Support accounts and confiscate its property in all states.
And the Khartoum State Security Coordination Committee decided that today, Sunday, April 16, 2023, will be an official holiday in Khartoum State, in order to preserve citizens and their property.
The committee said that it has been in permanent session since the morning of Saturday, corresponding to April 15, 2023 AD, to follow up on the course of events that took place in the state, according to the Sudan News Agency, SUNA.
She added that citizens should stay away from the military areas and any places that could be a target for the ongoing operations and stay in their homes as much as possible, according to the Sudan News Agency, “SUNA”.
And she emphasized the continuation of the state government and localities in providing all necessary services to citizens.
