Al-Hilal defeated its host Al-Ettifaq 2-0 on Wednesday, in a postponed match from the 20th stage of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League.
Al Hilal advanced through Ali Al Bulayhi in the 30th minute, before Odion Ighalo added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 51st minute.
Al Hilal raised its score to 55 points in second place, six points behind the leaders Al Ittihad, before their important match next week.
On the other hand, Al-Ettifaq’s balance froze at 27 points, in thirteenth place, one point ahead of relegation.
