Yesterday, Friday, the Confederation of African Football announced the list of candidates for the Best Young Player in Africa Award for the year 2023.
CAF nominated 5 players to win this award, as the list witnesses a fierce competition between Bilal Al-Khanous and Abdel Samad Al-Zalzouli.
Dango Ouattara, Lamine Camara, and Amara Diouf from Senegal will also compete for this award.
Both Abdel Samad Al-Zalzouli and Bilal Al-Khanous contributed to the “Cubes” team being crowned champions of the U-23 African Cup of Nations.
It is worth noting that the Confederation of African Football had previously announced the organization of the annual awards ceremony next December 11 in Marrakesh.
