Equestrian Saeed Al Muhairi, riding the horse of “Ashafa Tupac”, from the “Commandos” stables belonging to His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi in the Al Ain region, won the title of the “Union Day Endurance Cup” race for a distance of 120 km.
The race was held at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, coinciding with the celebrations of the 53rd Union Day, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office.
The Emirates International Endurance Village organized the race in coordination with the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, with the participation of 226 male and female riders, and the champion covered the race distance, achieving 4:00:52 hours, with an average speed of 29.89 kilometers per hour.
In second place came the horsewoman Laila Abdulaziz Al-Rida, riding the horse “RO Patagonia”, for Al Wathba Stables, achieving 4:01:31 hours, and third place was the horsewoman Issa Radwan Al-Ghailani, riding the horse “Beaulieu Queen Spirit”, for the Commando Stables, achieving 4:02:18 hours. .
The events were attended and the winners were crowned by the Director General of the Emirates International Endurance Village, Muslim Al Ameri, the Director of Events in the Village, Mohammed Al Hadhrami, and the Director of the Support Services Department at the Emirates Equestrian Federation, Abdullah Al Naqbi.
Al Ameri extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his support and continued interest in developing the village to host major events, praising the great participation of male and female knights in the race, due to its great and precious status for everyone.
