The UAE Football Association announced, on the social networking site “Twitter”, that the national team’s match against its Syrian counterpart, scheduled for January 27, for the first group in the second leg of the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, will be held at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club.
The match will be held at 18:55 pm.
The team occupies third place in the standings of Group A with six points, behind the leaders Iran and South Korea, which is in second place.
The Football Association held a coordination meeting with Al Maktoum Stadium officials, in the presence of representatives of the relevant departments, where all organizational, marketing and media requirements were discussed, as well as the medical protocol for the match.
