132 cyclists participated in the Sharjah Road Race for cubs and juniors, the day before yesterday, in the Mahafiz area.
The 36 km junior race witnessed the victory of the Sharjah Club cyclist, Salman Al Mansouri, in first place, the Abu Dhabi Club cyclist, Mansour Al Hammadi, in second place, and Dan Christophe from Al Hamriyah in third place, and in the 18 km cub race, the Abu Dhabi Club cyclist, Gabriel Francis, won first place. Max Daniel from Al-Nasr Club took second place, and Ali Abdullah from Al-Sharjah Club took third place.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Cycling Federation, engineer Kholoud Al Dhaheri, told Emirates Today: “We are happy with this number of participants in the most important base for the cycling game, through which strong national teams will be built.”
