Fez: Reda Hamdallah
Morocco Fez football fans participated in blood donation initiatives and collecting in-kind donations for the victims of the Al Haouz earthquake. A faction supporting the team, starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, will begin collecting food supplies, mattresses, blankets, tents, water, and medicines in the garden of the French Consulate Square on Abu Ubaida Al-Jarrah Street in the New City of Fez.
The “Fatal Tiger” faction called on all fans, residents and events to join its initiative to collect donations to deliver them to the affected families throughout the day, stressing that the members of the faction will be responsible for transporting people who live far away and are unable to travel to the park for any reason in order to contribute on the spot.
The faction announced its involvement in this campaign in support of the earthquake victims, by organizing a solidarity convoy towards the affected areas, appreciating all the initiatives and efforts made by the Moroccan people to support the areas affected by the Al Haouz earthquake, whether thousands of citizens flocked to blood transfusion centers or organized convoys towards the roundabouts.
The day before yesterday, the faction had engaged in a blood donation campaign, and dozens of its members and supporters of the team flocked to the regional blood transfusion center at the Hassan II Hospital in Fez, raising a banner in which they expressed their happiness at engaging in this sensitive national duty and providing the necessary assistance to the families of the victims as much as possible.
