Al Nasr Club announced the launch of the talent data center project in the club’s football academy, with the aim of developing the academy’s work in a way that serves young players, and investing in them in the best way, in order to serve the national teams and the club’s first team. This came during a press conference held by a member of the board of directors of Al-Nasr Football Company, supervising the age stages, Adel Shakri, at the club’s headquarters, with the aim of announcing the new project, which was implemented experimentally with the Al-Nasr Academy teams last season, before it was officially approved by the The start of the new season.
Adel Shakeri said: “The goal is to serve the national teams and the club’s first team, so the dean tested the (Play Maker) program for player statistics, which measures everything about the player during training or matches, and the talent data center aims to qualify distinguished players, which is a A small device that is placed in the player’s shoes, and the center reads through all the player’s data, and this data is analyzed in order to focus on the defects, and to know everything the player needs.”
He added: “The device also measures the actual time of training, and it is therefore monitored by the coaches, to know the time, and based on these statistics, there is a reality in front of the technical devices of the teams and officials, to judge the player even in front of the guardian, who may request this data to ensure the correctness of training His son is in the club, the data itself is not everything, because it is supposed to have a correct analysis.”
He continued, “The target group in this project is 40 players from the club’s 13 and 14-year-old teams, in addition to some talented people in other teams. Young players were selected specifically because of the ability to correct mistakes, as the young age is always easier and faster to adjust, Unlike the big teams. The program measures everything for the player, and detects any shortcomings, for example, as a player who is not good at playing with the left leg, and moving as required, and after reading this data, the player’s position is changed on the field or worked to support him individually.
And a member of the board of directors of the ball company continued: “There are some parents who come to the clubs to complain, because their children do not play, and with the new program there will be comprehensive measurements of the player, knowing his strength and regularity in training, which is enough to respond to parents as well.”
Adel Shakeri confirmed that the club is waiting for the competition schedule and the new season system to determine the start of the season in the football academy, which is likely to be the beginning of next August.
