The Board of Directors of the UAE Professional League held its sixth periodic meeting for the current season yesterday, headed by Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, President of the Association, and in the presence of the members of the Council. During the meeting, they reviewed the preparations for the UAE Super Cup, which will bring together Al Ain and Sharjah on the evening of February 25, at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club in Dubai, under the slogan “Emirati Super”.
The Board of Directors instructed to intensify the efforts of the work team assigned to organize the event, by strengthening the marketing and promotional efforts of the event, and the Association seeks to provide an integrated sports entertainment program that witnesses many diverse events, and the Association issued tickets for the match a month before its date, to allow the fans to reserve their seats early.
The Council also discussed initiatives to increase public attendance and focus on it during the current season.
