Al Wahda returns to victories and increases pressure on Al Dhafra

The Al-Wehda team quickly returned to victories after the loss it received in the last round against Al-Ain, as it succeeded in beating Al-Dhafra 3-1 in the match that brought the two teams together at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium yesterday, so that Al-Wahda returned to the competition, and maintained its hopes of winning the title, while Al Dhafra’s position worsened, which lost a new opportunity at home in order to collect match points.

Al-Wehda’s goals were scored by Adrian da Silva in the 7th minute, Matthews Felipe in the 15th minute, and Joao Pedro finished the hat-trick in the 73rd minute, while Ali Eid scored the only goal in the 94th minute. With this result, Al-Wehda reaches point 40, while Al-Dhafra’s balance stands at eight. Points in last place in the ranking table.

Al-Wahda did not find it difficult to achieve victory, especially in the first half, after taking advantage of the confusion in Al Dhafra defense, to succeed in scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes, to finish the match early, taking advantage of the good start, and in return Al Dhafra failed to collect safety points, to continue to threaten relegation.
