The day before yesterday, the first round of the UAE Formula 4 Boat Championship and the UAE Flyboard Championship, which were held on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, were concluded, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
Salem Al Yafei achieved first place in the Formula 4 Championship, and Obaid Mubarak came second, both from the Mubarak Marine Team, while Khaled Mohammed Al Zarouni from the Sharjah Team came in third place.
As for the “Flyboard” Championship, the beginners category witnessed the Egyptian Mohamed Bebo winning first place, the Emirati Faisal Al Tunaiji coming in second, then the Egyptian Mohamed Tariq Mustafa third.
In the professional category, Colombian Daniel Guerra topped the competition and achieved first place, followed by Frenchman Jeffrey Kozla in second place, and Emirati Ahmed Al Mahrezi came in third place.
The winners were crowned by the Chairman of the Club’s Competitions Committee, Saif Al Suwaidi, and the Acting Director of the Marine Sports Department, Nasser Al Dhaheri, while Alia Fairouz was honored in recognition of her participation in the UAE Formula 4 Boat Championship, being the first Emirati woman to participate in this category.
