A number of European clubs are still collecting donations for the victims of the Al Haouz earthquake.
The Spanish club, Real Betis, launched a campaign to collect donations for those affected by this tragedy, through the team’s foundation, which adopted an urgent program to support this group.
According to the newspaper “Marca”, Moroccan international Abdel Samad Zalzouli will lead this campaign, along with French player Nabil Fekir.
The newspaper confirmed that the Verde Blanca Foundation, affiliated with Real Betis, invited more than 70,000 fans to donate one euro to benefit the victims.
The National Institute of Geophysics had identified the epicenter of the earthquake in the “Ighil” rural community in Al Haouz Province, southwest of the city of Marrakesh, at a depth of 8 kilometers, with a magnitude of 7 on the Richter scale.
