Alcaraz reaches last 16 at Wimbledon

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the round of 16 at the Wimbledon Open after defeating American Frances Tiafoe in the third round.

Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, managed to beat his opponent in 3 sets to 2, with scores of 7-5, 6-2, 6-4, 7-6, and 6-2.

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, ranked tenth in the world, reached the same round after defeating Frenchman Gael Monfils.

Dimitrov defeated Monfils in 3 sets, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3.

American Tommy Paul also qualified for the round of 16, after defeating Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik 6-3, 6-4, 6-2.
