Alejandra Baigorria was in the spotlight of the press a few days ago when she was criticized for bringing aid to the Chaclacayo district, where her father, Sergio Baigorria, is mayor, since it was said that he was trying to clean his image after some questions from the residents of the place before the efforts for the fall of huaicos due to the heavy rains. All this could lead us to think that perhaps the popular ‘Gringa de Gamarra’ could make inroads as a politician.
Will Alejandra Baigorria venture into politics?
The “Love and Fire” cameras searched for Alejandra Baigorria to find out if it is within his plans to work in the field of politics, since he could follow in the footsteps of his father, who is an authority in Chaclacayo. The businesswoman’s response was forceful.
“Not for now, but I don’t rule it out. I really feel that there have to be new politicians in the country, young politicians, not necessarily me, for this country to move forward. People who want to help the country, not who want to benefit from, people who have their own companies, their own money, who have come from below and know what the process is,” he said.
Alejandra Baigorria responded to criticism for donations
After being harshly questioned by Magaly Medina, Alejandra Baigorria used her social networks to defend herself against criticism for bringing donations to the Chaclacayo district, where her father is mayor. On her Instagram account, she published a video in which Sergio Baigorria is seen working.
“I invite you to do a better investigation (…). What a pity that they seek to separate a suffering Chaclacayo. Here it should only matter that everyone helps. Now is it wrong for me to help my people? I was not elected as mayor, but I help my father because I want to and because he is my family,” he wrote.
