Meanwhile, TTD has made extensive arrangements for the convenience of devotees who flock to Tirumala during Garuda Seva. Around 2 lakh devotees are expected to wait in the galleries. The authorities have made arrangements to allow the devotees waiting on the Inner Ring Road and Outer Ring Road for Garuda Seva Darshan to enter the galleries through Supatham, South West Corner, Govindanilayam North West Gate and North East Gate. A plan was made to start the Garuda Vahana at 7 pm and move forward slowly till 2 midnight so that all the devotees can have darshan. Officials have asked the devotees waiting outside for Garudaseva darshan to wait patiently until their turn and follow the rules of the security department.
On the other hand, Matrushri Tharigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada will be served continuously from 8 am to 1 pm, he said. He said that packets of Pulihora, Tomato Bath, Bisibela Bath etc. will be distributed in the galleries from morning till night. He said that 2.50 lakh buttermilk packets have also been prepared for the devotees.
Meanwhile, security arrangements have been made for the Brahmotsavam with around 1130 TTD surveillance and security personnel and 3,600 policemen. Additional security has also been provided with 1200 policemen specially for Garudaseva. Temple Mada streets and other areas are monitored from the command control center through 2,770 cc cameras. Mobile clinics, 7 ambulances, doctors and paramedical staff will be made available at four corners of Madaveedhu for medical services to the devotees.
