In a statement, TTD said that all arrangements have been completed regarding the conduct of Hanumajjayanthi celebrations in Tirumala. On the other hand, officials have revealed that only RTC buses will be allowed on the Papanasnam route on May 14.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has completed all arrangements for Hanumajjayanthi celebrations in Tirumala. The festival will be held on Anjanadri in Tirumala from 14th to 18th of this month. To this extent, Hanumajjayanthi celebrations will be held at Anjanadri Akasha Ganga, Japali, Nadanirajana Vedika, Dharmagiri Vedic Vigyan Peetha, Bedi Anjaneya Swamivari temples. On the day of Hanumajjayanthi, special abhishekals, archanas and reports are performed to Anjaneyaswamy in these temples.Also, abhishekam is done to Swami in Japali Theertha in the morning. On this occasion, TTD officials present silk cloths to the lord. By Hanumajjayanthi, devotees reach Tirumala with Hanumadiksha and take initiation at Japali Tirtha. Only RTC buses are allowed. On the other hand, TTD officials revealed that only RTC buses will be allowed on the Papanashanam route on May 14, the day of Hanumajjayanthi. Officials have estimated that a large number of devotees are likely to attend the celebrations. In view of the rush of devotees, there will be a parking problem at the Akashaganga and Papanasanam areas. That is why only RTC buses will be allowed on the Tirumala to Gogarbham Dam circle route, the officials said. The TTD officials requested the devotees and private vehicle drivers to take note of this matter and cooperate.
