Allari Naresh, who believed in the story told by new director Vijay Kanakamedala and agreed to act naked, got results. ‘Naandi’ was appreciated by the audience as well as the critics. Naresh agreed to do another film with the same director after this film became a huge success. That is ‘fury’. Not only the director.. Many of the team that worked for the movie ‘Nandi’ worked for the movie ‘Ugram’. Vijay Kanakamedala, who portrayed Naresh as an innocent man who is being punished for a mistake he did not commit in ‘Nandi’, but in ‘Ugram’, he was unveiled as a powerful police officer. Naresh has done action sequences which have never been done before in this movie.
As the posters, teaser, trailer and other promotional stuff are attractive, the expectations of the film have increased. Amidst these expectations, ‘Ugram’ released worldwide today (May 5). The premieres have already started overseas. Some viewers who have seen the movie ‘Ugram’ in UK and US are expressing their opinions through social media. Looking at these opinions, it is understood that Naresh and Vijay could not repeat the magic of ‘Nandi’ with the movie ‘Ugram’.
Although the story written by director Vijay is good, many people are of the opinion that the way he directed the story is not good. They say that there is nothing special about the first-off movie. It is said that the first half is very slow.. The love track has not been worked out. They say that the track starts after 20 minutes of the movie.. The interval sequence is good. However, many people are commenting that the second half is better than the first half. Solving the mystery, twists, thrilling investigation will keep the audience entertained in the second half. However, some feel that the narrative is a bit slow in the investigation as well.
However, no matter how the movie is, Allari Naresh’s performance is being praised by everyone. It is said that Naresh’s fury was seen especially in the action scenes. Allari Naresh is said to watch the movie even for his performance. The rain fight that comes in the interval bang is very good. Background music and cinematography are amazing. Otherwise, the slow narration and songs that hinder the story are a big minus of the movie. Overall it is an average movie.
This is Allari Naresh’s 60th film. Everyone thought that ‘Ugram’ would also be a milestone film in his career. But, this movie does not seem to give the expected result. And let’s see what kind of response this movie gets from the audience in Telugu states.
