Directed by Gunasekhar, Shakunthalam is produced by Dil Raju and Neelima Guna on Sri Venkateswara Creations in association with Guna Teamworks. Composed by Melody Brahma Manisharma, the film will release worldwide on February 17, 2023 in 2D and 3D versions. Although this movie was supposed to release earlier, it got postponed due to VFX.
As for Samantha, who played the lead role in this movie, it is known that she is currently suffering from myositis. In this sequence, Sam, who recently participated in the trailer event, was moved to tears by the support shown by the fans.
