Not only did Allu Arjun get a new look in the movie ‘Pushpa. Hence, this movie has impressed the audience of all languages across the country. However, there is a scene where Pushparaj throws the red sandalwood logs into the river to avoid the forest officer. The logs floating in the river are taken away by closing the dam gates. However, some viewers praised Sukumar’s creativity when the scene was shown. Others doubted whether the logs would float on water.
However, an Indian Forest Service official from Telangana clarified that transporting wood based on water is not a new idea. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Mohan Chandra Pargain recently tweeted a video. It is a video that explains how wood is transported by water in the hilly areas of Jammu. Timber is still transported through rivers in the hilly areas of Jammu. Logs float down from the mountains and float in the water.
The same method was used by director Sukumaru in the movie ‘Pushpa’. Netizens are also commenting on Mohan Chandra’s tweet that this is what was shown in the movie ‘Pushpa’. However, during the British period, logs were transported from Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand to Deodar through the river Ganga. The river Ganges was used as a major source of transport for timber as its current was strong. So, Sukumar would have planned that scene in ‘Pushpa’ where he researched a lot. All in all, with Mohan Chandra’s tweet, the ‘Pushpa’ scene is again being discussed on social media.
