Washington DC: 35-year-old school counselor arrested for sexually assaulting 14-year-old schoolboy. 35-year-old Kelly Ann Shatty, a school counselor in Buck County, Pennsylvania, USA, has been arrested. The relevant incident took place at Penn Ridge South Middle School.

The police have found that the woman used the child sexually from 2022 until the summer vacation of this year. American media reports that they have some other criminal charges in addition to being used sexually.

The police received the first allegation against the councilor in July. It was a woman who was Kelly’s relative who approached the police. They saw Kelly kissing the child with sexual intent at her home. Seeing this, he entered the house and asked both of them to leave. Seeing this, the boy got scared and ran and hid behind the car. He was calling after him to come and pick him up. The frightened child himself told his parents about the relationship between the two.

He said he was in love with the counselor and the two were physically involved. With this, the child’s mother informed the police. In July, investigators met the student and asked for information.

In the fall of 2022, he first met the counselor on the school bus while returning home from class. Later, the boy said, they would regularly call him to their office in the school, including during class. Apart from that, she told the investigators that they also started sending her messages.

After the end of the school year, the two started communicating through digital platforms including Snapchat. Along with that both of them connected physically. The student also told investigators he had sex with Kelly numerous times in June and July.

People reports that Kelly had sex with the 14-year-old in the child’s bedroom and in the car on days when the father and siblings were away. Investigators also recovered some jewelery of the accused from these places. A few messages have also been found that indicate a relationship with the child. Meanwhile, school officials have informed that Kelly has been fired in the wake of the case.
