Amaravati farmers’ grievances may be right, but.. Minister Dharmana’s key comments

Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao commented that the people of Andhra who were separated from the capital like Hyderabad were unfortunate. Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu was blamed for the non-construction of the capital in AP. It is said that the fraud was done during the Telugu nation in the matter of capital. A round table meeting on decentralization of Andhra Pradesh administration was held at Rajahmundry in East Godavari district.

Ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao, Chellapoina Venugopalakrishna, MLAs, intellectuals and social activists attended this meeting. Rajahmundry YCP MP Margani Bharat chaired this round table meeting. Speaking on this occasion, Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao stated that the Srikrishna Committee report was not implemented during the TDP regime. He explained that Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy is implementing the report of Sri Krishna Committee.

Minister Dharmana said that there is a law to change the capital. The farmers of Amaravati may be right but there is no situation to spend so much money on one area. It is stated that 55 thousand acres is not necessary for the establishment of the capital. Minister Dharmana alleged that Chandrababu wanted to buy capital lands with TDP leaders and put them in the guppet. It has been 9 years since the separation of the state, but instead of building the capital, Chandrababu is accused of obstructing it. He questioned what would be the loss to TDP if the capital is established in Visakhapatnam. The people of Uttarandhra still protested whether they had to travel hundreds of kilometers for the capital. Minister Dharmana warned that if the capital is blocked in Visakha, there is no way to stand idly by.

Former minister Kurasala Kannababu said that why Chandrababu did not put the Srikrishna Committee report in the Legislative Assembly. He said that the Srikrishna Committee had given a report that Amaravati should be the capital of the state. He said that the whole of Andhra Pradesh should be good.. Amaravati should be in it. It is alleged that Chandrababu made Amaravati as the capital only to increase the land values. He alleged that Amaravati farmers’ yatra is going on for real estate lands. Just like the farmers of Amaravati are demanding Arasavilli Suryanarayana Murthy, it has been revealed that under the leadership of YCP, they will beat coconuts to all the gods in the state on Vijayadashami.
