Tirupathi Rao arrived at the chariot in Chodavaram of Ramachandrapuram mandal on 11th and reached Anakapalli on Tuesday evening via Draksharama, Gollapalem, Penuguduru, Kakinada and Annavaram. He reminded that the march which started with the blessings of God to make Amaravati the only capital was stopped due to unavoidable reasons. He said that the padayatra was done for 40 days in the past and he started the padayatra by visiting Lord Venkateswara Swamy at the place where the chariot stopped with the determination to complete it.
It is known that the farmers of Amaravati started the Mahapadayatra from Amaravati to Arasavelli on September 13. But the high court verdict continued till October 20 with the consequences. Later, Dr. BR Ambedkar’s march stopped near Ramachandrapuram in Konaseema district. The High Court directed that only 600 people should participate in the march. All were ordered to show their identity cards. But due to some reasons JAC stopped the march.
It is known that a petition was filed in the High Court even after that. Both the government and the farmers have filed petitions. The government asked to stop the padayatra.. the court dismissed the petition. Also it has once again given clarity that only 600 farmers will participate in the padayatra. It also dismissed the petition filed by the farmers. It said that there is no change in the conditions given in the past.. The conditions must be strictly followed. Those who continue in the padayatra should participate in the padayatra only if they have ID cards.. It has been ruled that solidarity can be expressed in any form for the padayatra.
The court said that even if the farmers violate the conditions given by them, they can approach the High Court to cancel the trip. After that it was announced that the padayatra will start in November and December. But it was not possible. Now Amaravati JAC leader Gadde Tirupati Rao has started the yatra again.
