Ambedkar Memorial Day: President Murmu, Prime Minister Modi Malaranjali

New Delhi: The memorial day of PR Ambedkar, who framed the Constitution of India, was observed yesterday. On this occasion, President Drarubathi Murmu Malaranjali paid tribute to the picture decorated under his statue in the Parliament complex.

Following this, Vice President Jagadeep Dhankar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge and Union Ministers paid floral tributes.

PM Modi later tweeted, ‘On Mahaparinirvan Day, I remember Babasaheb Ambedkar’s great service to our country and pay my respects to him. His struggles gave hope to millions. His efforts to give India a very comprehensive constitution will never be forgotten.
