The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi concluded in cooperation with the American National Basketball Association (NBA)NBA) The expanded third season of the Junior NBA Abu Dhabi League, run by Sport360, attracted more than 1,300 male and female students between the ages of 11 and 14 from Abu Dhabi schools, and for the first time from the city of Al Ain. More than 11,000 students from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain schools have participated in the league’s programs since 2022.
American Professional Basketball League stars Julius Erving and Jason Williams attended the final matches of the Junior NBA Abu Dhabi League, where they met male and female students as part of a series of Junior NBA training sessions in schools, and assumed honorary technical management duties for the two competing teams.
