Americans kill IS leader in Somalia

The US military says it has killed one of the leaders of Islamic State (IS) during an operation in northern Somalia. The troops hoped to capture Bilal al-Sudani, but he did not survive the firefight that ensued when he was captured. Ten other IS fighters were killed.
