Donald Trump kept 117 gifts undisclosed, including 17 gifts from India. These precious gifts include a gold chain and a replica of the Taj Mahal. These include gifts received during foreign visits with family members during his tenure as US President. The report was released by the leaders of the Democrat Party.
Trump received nearly $50,000 worth of gifts from India alone. There is a model of Taj Mahal worth Rs 3.8 lakh and a marble vase worth Rs 8 lakh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Donald Trump a cufflink when he arrived in India in 2021. This is also not disclosed. Former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind presented the Taj Mahal model to Trump.

Prime Minister Modi gifted Donald Trump a black marble table in 2019 and Ivanka Trump a Raghavendra Rathore chunky gold bracelet (worth around $2,450). Melania Trump was also given a charm bracelet by the Prime Minister. Another valuable gift from India that Trump did not reveal was a marble bowl given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2021.
Among the undisclosed are a massive painting of Trump given to him by the president of El Salvador ahead of the 2020 election and undisclosed gifts from then-Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Gifts above a certain dollar amount given to the president, vice president and their families while visiting foreign countries are required by law to be reported to the State Department. This includes foreign gifts and ornaments. According to reports, the gifts disclosed to Trump and his family are less than those disclosed by other presidents.
