An ancient inscription has been unearthed in Kadapa district. A 16th century Telugu inscription has come to light in Seshachalam forest in Konarajupalle and Guntikadipalle areas of Ontimitta mandal. Ontimitta mandal forest officer Prasad identified this inscription. It is written in Telugu characters on both sides of the inscription. It is found that Mahamandalishwara Madiraju and Nagaramojadeva Maharaja had given lands to people named Madinayani, Basinayani and Rasinayani of Dainagiri to perform Annadanam and Puja in Ontimitta Kshetra.

It is said that some more things will be known if we look at this inscription. Archeology department officials have responded and want to preserve the inscription. It is known that the temple of Kodandaram is located in Ontimita. It is known that ancient inscriptions have been found in this area in the past as well. Historians say that there are many more statutes in the district.. It is the responsibility of everyone to protect them.
