An arbitration workshop for the UAE national team players in the “Gulf 25” in Basra

The Organizing Committee of the Arab Gulf Cup “Gulf 25” held an arbitration workshop this morning, in the presence of members of the technical and administrative staff and players, at the mission’s residence in Basra.

The workshop, which was presented by the international lecturer, Ismail Al-Hafi, dealt with the latest instructions related to the football game law and the arbitration procedures that will be followed during the Gulf Cup 25 and the use of the video assistant referee (VAR) technique.

During the workshop, a number of arbitration cases and the decisions taken in their regard were reviewed and explained, including cases of expulsion, the calculation of penalties, and violations that require the intervention of video assistive technology, and others.
