The astronaut Al-Neyadi wrote on Twitter: From the International Space Station, a gift to Salman’s children on these blessed nights, a gift to the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the landing pad of revelation and the land of the message, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also documented in the video clip the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, saying: This is Medina, the mosque of the beloved Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, then he moved with his camera to photograph the city of Jeddah, saying: “This is the city of Jeddah … the bride of the Red Sea.”
And he said: “The one next to it (Jeddah) is the Sacred House of God.
He concluded his speech by saying: “The view is not the most wonderful.” Madinah and Makkah are like bright stars…one of the most wonderful things I have seen.”
